Big week around here.

Obi had her first professional photo session and I just got the photos back. Jinx’s first commercial also officially launched, which is still a little surreal to see.

These girls are keeping things exciting around the kennel lately and I’m pretty proud of them both.

As we closed out 2025 and stepped into 2026, I’m taking a moment to reflect on what an incredible year this has been for our kennel and the dogs who make it all worth it.

Obi had a standout year, placing in every class she was entered in at Royal and taking her 9–12 Month Bred-By class at the Hound Specialty. Beyond the show ring, she has continued to shine in her animal acting career, with multiple exciting projects lined up over the next few months. We’re planning to step back into the conformation ring again in June, and I couldn’t be more proud of how she continues to grow and mature.

Google also had an exceptional showing at Royal and the Hound Specialty, placing in every class she entered. She went on to make an unforgettable debut in UKC, earning a Best in Show at her first UKC event and finishing the year ranked #4 Beagle in UKC, securing her invitation to Premier as a Top 10 competitor. Watching her confidence and consistency develop has been incredibly rewarding.

Grant rounded out the year beautifully, placing in every class at Royal and the Hound Specialty while looking absolutely stellar doing it. He completed his UKC CCH titles and has a full calendar of shows ahead in 2026. His steady progress and presence in the ring continue to impress.

I’m deeply grateful for the mentors, friends, judges, and supporters who have encouraged us along the way, and most of all for these dogs who give me everything they have every time they step into the ring. 2025 was a year of growth, learning, and success, and I’m so excited for what 2026 has in store.

What an incredible couple of weeks for BEARs Beagles!

- Google made her UKC debut in style, bringing home a Best in Show her very first weekend out.
- March wrapped up the last field trial of the year with his strongest run yet, reminding us just how versatile a well-balanced show dog can be.
- Grant continued to shine with multiple breed and group placements at UKC last weekend.
- Jinx had another Chewy photoshoot and will be back at Chewy HQ again this week for more screen time.
- Obi also took a breed placement in UKC and had her debut Chewy shoot—this girl is growing up fast!

We’re officially gearing up for Royal Canin 2025 this upcoming weekend, and I couldn’t be prouder of how each of these dogs continues to thrive, work hard, and represent the heart and essence of BEARs Beagles.

Form. Function. Family.

So proud of this little team today.
Google and Gabi worked their hearts out all weekend and it truly showed. Google placed in her classes at the hound specialty and held steady with Reserve Winners Bitch from Friday through Sunday, staying consistent and confident every step of the way.

Watching these two grow together has been such a joy. Google is still so young, but she’s already proving her promise in the ring — and Gabi is doing an incredible job guiding her forward.

Here’s to more growth, more teamwork, and a very bright future for this pair. 💚💙

Big congrats to Grant and his co-owners on a RWD today at the Hound Specialty hosted by the Hound Association of Central Florida! He did stellar and I cannot wait to see what he accomplishes this coming year.

Insanely proud of Obi and Badger today!

BEARs Obi One Kannoli “Obi” took BoV in sweeps and BOW from the Bred By classes at the hound specialty today hosted by the Hound Association of Central Florida! She’s now multi pointed on only her second show out.

GCH Usonias run rabbit run v lowdown “Badger” took BOS at the hound specialty. Love showing this low riding guy and appreciate his amazing owner for trusting me to be at the end of his lead.

Please help us congratulate BEARs So Nice We Did It Twice For Lane Rae – “Mulligan” on a fantastic start to his show career. He earned Best Opposite S*x both days this weekend at his first time out and is already showing great promise. Mulligan will continue to build on this momentum as he heads into a few more shows in preparation for the Hound Specialties and Royal Canin later this season. Proudly co-owned with Alayne Mullen.

This little girl keeps making us proud. BEARs Search The Web At Snapshot STR – “Google” passed her Chewy audition a couple weeks ago and is gearing up for her first photoshoot next week. She also earned her STAR Puppy title and had a great first trailing lesson, showing promising instinct and drive. Watching the versatility in this litter come to life has been incredibly rewarding.
BEARs strives to bring back a functional Beagle in the ring, field, and sports, and Google is a beautiful example of what we aim to produce. Proudly co-owned with Gabi.
