It’s hard to believe we’ll be celebrating the 10th Tampa Pig Jig next weekend. What started as a backyard BBQ to raise money for NephCure in honor of a friend who was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease, has turned into an annual fundraising event that has donated millions of dollars to NephCure.
I designed the logo back in 2011 and have been a design sponsor each year. It’s been an honor to be a part of it.

This was a special project to take on. It’s a new logo for the neighborhood I grew up in and now live in 🏡 The community was established in 1959. It has beautiful, Grand Oak-lined streets and is built around the lovely Lake Carroll. The 925 homes in the neighborhood are represented by 925 leaves on the tree in the logo 🌿🦚

Hi friends. Thanks for the love yesterday. This is my intro post. My name is Maggie Sage Shaffer. I’m 40 years old (no longer eligible for a 40 under 40 🥇😆) I’m a wife, mom to 3 and self-employed illustrator & designer.
