The x-ray shows a dog laying on her side. You can see bladder stones filling her urinary bladder. They are like white rocks on the X-ray. The other picture shows all the stones after surgery. This was by far the highest number of calculi I have removed from a dog! There have larger stones, but never this many. The dog’s name is very appropriate - Roxy! 🪨 🐶

The talons on Bald Eagles always scream take a picture of us. They are unbelievable long, sharp and strong, yet we never worry about getting injured when we have Franklin from the CCEEC in control of them. Raptor flies are a completely different story.

Extremely affectionate girl available for adoption through the DAWGS Prison Progrsm. This is Uma. Her puppies were all adopted yet she still needs to find her people. She has a little bit of a facial scar, and we had to extract a fractured tooth for her, so I am sure she would have a story to tell us if she could talk. Check out her gorgeous eye liner. She will make someone a wonderful buddy!🥰

7 Easter foods to avoid feeding your pets!

1- Ham.
Ham is high in calories and very fatty.
(Any Pork-hotdogs, bacon, etc)
It can cause diarrhea and life-threatening pancreatitis.

2. Bones from Ham/turkey/etc.
Bones can cause a foreign body and pierce the intestine.

3. Mashed Potatoes
If you make mashed potatoes and want to give them a portion, make sure it is plain. That there is no garlic or onions as they are toxic. If butter is in the mashed potatoes, it can cause diarrhea and can often make your animals lactose intolerant.

4. Green Beans
They are healthy and safe for your animals as long as they are cooked without seasonings and fats such as butter/oil. Also, that it does not have onions/garlic as it will cause diarrhea.

5. Cakes/pies
Carrot cake might sound healthy because of one of the ingredients is carrots, however any cake/pies have a large amount of fat and sugar.

6. Chocolate
Make sure to keep all of your candy away from your pets as high amounts can be toxic, or cause diarrhea.
This includes certain "Sugar free" candy. Any candy/gum that contains xylitol and is consumed, is extremely toxic.
