Tonight is the night it starts! Join us tonight and tomorrow night as we all get to enjoy a wonderful weekend of Rodeo fun. Gates open at 6 with mutton Bustin at 6:30 and the rodeo starting at 7:30 and don’t forget the local 4-H drill team starting us off.

I am so proud of these kiddos!
It takes a lot of time, work, and dedication to excel in drill team.
I am beyond excited that they were chosen to be recognized this weekend by the Georgia Equine Commission in Perry, Ga.

We are grateful that we were able to share this moment with family, friends, and fellow horse club members!

That horse looks two eye-rolls away from filing an HR complaint. It’s giving "I need a union."

The kid’s posing like he’s about to drop the hottest country album of 2025 — title: "Yeehaw, but Make It Mild."

That helmet? It’s doing its best, but honestly, it looks like a bowling ball someone duct-taped to his head.

Those jeans are hanging on for dear life like "We didn’t sign up for rodeo cosplay, Karen."

The saddle blanket looks like it’s stolen from a 1973 s**g carpet.

The horse’s mouth is wide open like it’s about to snitch: "This is NOT what I signed up for. Karen, get your child."

Meanwhile in the background, the entire barn setup looks like a dollar store Western movie set — I’m half-expecting a tumbleweed to roll through with a little "help me" sign on it.

"This cowboy's got the hat and the horse — but it looks like he wandered out of a suburban "rodeo themed" golf course straight into the arena. That striped polo shirt is requesting '9-hole tee time at 3,' but the belt and jeans are ready to 'yee-haw at 4.'
Seriously, are we checking the cows before breakfast or getting up early to study for a math test?
And the horse? - Definitely questioning your lifestyle choices. He's wondering how he ended up in a cowboy vs prep boy identity crisis. His main focus is pepping for nap, zoning out of your conversation, and wondering if he’s getting paid overtime for this after-school rodeo.
This cowboy will go riding into the sunset forgetting both his boots and bridle. Also, should we be concerned that neither are looking where they are going?"

This looks like what happens when a Heartland cowgirl meets a Lisa Frank binder. That horse is serving “hardcore bouncer vibes,” and the kid? Straight outta the Barbie Wild West collection. The black-and-white chaps say “calf wrangler,” but the sparkly pink says “I bedazzled this at 5 AM with a glue gun and a dream.”
The horse is clearly thinking, “This wasn't my idea, but now that I here, lets do it!”. Thank goodness for the helmet, because you never now what crazy stunt this pair may pull. This duo could win something at a horse show… maybe “most likely to blind the judges with glitter and fringe?”
