We are an open-admission municipal animal shelter owned and operated by the City of Tallahassee, and serving the surrounding communities. Our mission is simple; we work to protect the public and the welfare of all the animals in our community. Our official mission statement reads: Tallahassee Animal Services (TAS) ensures public safety and the welfare of animals by enforcing animal control regulat

ions and by providing a secure, healthy environment for animals in its care. Our goals are simple too, and all focus around the primary goal of maximizing the number of lives we can save by:

With a recent influx of bottle baby kittens, we are running low on formula! These little guys rely on kitten milk replacer (KMR) to grow big and strong without their moms.

Whether he's out on a walk, playing in the yard, or lounging around the house, Butch is an easy-going dog who listens well and enjoys keeping his people company. Plus, he's crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash!

This sweetie pie is a young pup who was brought in as a stray a couple months ago, and she has won hearts with her loving and lovable personality. Weighing in at 37 pounds, she is the perfect size to cuddle up next to you on the couch for a nap.
