…… This is a hard one to write…. Please know that my family is honored to form the bonds with your pets that we have over the years…. We are grateful for being welcomed into your families, we have watched you graduate from college, some of your kids graduated and start their lives and it’s been amazing but with amazing highs are some pretty low lows….. we’ve been there with you thru the loss…. Some parents… some children… some furry and others not so much…. We are grateful for every goodbye we have ever been offered and we can never express the gratitude for the closure you have given us……
Many many of you know Booner…… we competed together heavily for about the first 4.5 years of his life, he wasn’t my or my families dog but he was shared with us by the Newman family….. he has been with us for the last 6 years on a weekly basis… he became more than a client and Jennifer became family so when we got a FaceTime call about “our boy” on Saturday afternoon it was all red flags….. he was rushed to the hospital and despite doing every thing right…. Booner succumbed to Bloat (despite having been tacked) on Saturday afternoon…… Jennifer and her family graciously allowed us to come say goodbye to a dog we owe so much too… Jennifer allowed Booner to come and be laid to rest at our farm under his big oak trees……this it hurts….. and it feels so weird because your dogs they don’t belong to us but this, this hurts boy 😔😔😔 I don’t know when our relationships with our clients became more than just grooming….. but we are forever grateful for you guys 🖤🖤🖤🖤
