Best Friends Dog Rescue has reached a critical point since we partnered with Grady County Animal Control, now called the Animal Welfare and Adoption Center of Grady County, in January of this year - transforming it from a High-Kill shelter to a No-Kill shelter. Now, the Grady County pound is FULL!!! For the first time, we will have to begin euthanizing adoptable dogs to make room for new ones being picked up by Animal Control.
We DESPERATLY need the grady county community to step up and help us save these wonderful animals from being killed for no other reason but running out of time and making room for more being picked up and brought in.
We currently adopt and transport dogs to other rescues, but sometimes that doesn't' happen quick enough and more dogs are coming in than going out. WE DEPARATLY NEED SOME FOLKS WILLING TO TEMPORARALY FOSTER A DOG UNTIL WE CAN FIND THEIR FOREVER HOME!! We have all kinds of dogs available and we can help you pick the right dog that will fit into your household. We can even provide an outside pen if you can't take a dog into your home.
