Galavanting Poodles is home to Alaska's adventure poodles and AKC show standard poodles.

Galavanting Poodles train and condition in one of the most unique environments in the world! Daily exercise consists of hikes in the mountains and backcountry of Alaska. Galavanting Poodles are also active in AKC dog shows throughout Alaska as well as the lower 48 states of the United States. They have become affectionately known as “the Alaska poodles” by the folks who get to meet them when they travel the Lower 48.

Bathing, blow-drying, brushing, and sc******ng the poodle show prospects are part of the regular routine here at Galavanting. It's time-consuming work, but I genuinely enjoy it. There's something awfully satisfying about starting with a soaking wet poodle and finishing with a beautifully groomed one!

Puppy Diaries:
There's not a whole lot in life that is more entertaining than watching a couple of poodle puppies discover the snow for the first time.
Life with young poodles is never dull, especially when there is fresh snow and a willing playmate!
