ELVIS is a 10 year old dun stripped mustang gelding from Nevada. He has had extensive ground work including, grooming, saddling, trailer loading and all around handling. He is ready for someone to get him riding. He's located in West Plains Mo. I gentled him a few years ago and he has been with this owner since then and she wants him to go to someone who will give him a job. He's too nice to sit in a pasture forever. Asking $1000

Georgie is available! Georgie is a fun little mare who has had an extensive amount of groundwork training and has been saddled. Georgie HAS NOT been started undersaddle.

Georgie is a highly sensitive, light mare who requires someone with good timing, feel, and patience to continue her training. She has a heart of gold and endless try for the right person.

I’m looking to rehome Georgie to someone in the northern states. Her skin is very sensitive to the flies in the Oklahoma summer time and she gets quite itchy and rubs herself. She would be best suited for someone who is willing to stay on top of keeping her protected from the flies and lives up north. She does excellent here in the winter time!

I’ve owned Georgie since 2020. She has a solid groundwork foundation, has been saddled, but never ridden.

Along with her groundwork foundation, she has also recently been started at liberty. She will follow you at the shoulder w/t and do liberty circles w/t.

Georgie stands tied, bathes, fly sprays, loads in the trailer, ponies off a ridden horse, does obstacles, stands for the farrier, etc. She is UTD on farrier, chiropractic, and dental.

Feel free to reach out if you think Georgie may be a good fit for you! I’m going to be very picky about who she goes to, as she is a very sensitive type who will require the right type of handler.

Hey friends...I need help finding a horse that was sold about 3 years ago from a long time owner who just wants to know her boy is ok. He was sold on Talihina Oklahoma and may have been passed around a little..he would have been in his late teens then and about 22 now
His name is Cougar..does anyone remember or recognize this sweetie?

Lainey 4 year old Fox Hog Buckskin. Not gentled, but not crazy. Should be an easy girl to train. I haven’t measured her but attached a picture of her standing next to my other buckskin mare who is 15.1 for reference.

DG ‘Ebe’ is a coming 4 year old Mustang mare, adopted through the USFS, looking for her new forever home. She is out of the Devils Garden HMA.
She is currently in with me getting a refresher on her basics while we hunt for her perfect match. She competed in the 2023 Four Corners Mustang Challenge in New Mexico, where she was adopted by her current owner. Unfortunately, they are just not a good match.

Ebe is sweet and friendly, she loves attention and treats. However she is still a bit guarded. She has some anxiety about being caught, which we are working hard to resolve. She is a very sensitive young mare and would do best with an experienced handler or somebody willing to put a LOT of time into building a relationship and helping her work through things.
Ebe can be touched all over, has gone through and over obstacles with her original trainer, she stands tied and gives all four feet without a fuss. She needs consistency and patience when catching her, but once caught she is a doll. She’s a little ‘sticky’ with leading, and tends to want to drag behind a bit, but we are working through these issues. Her left side is definitely her ‘strong’ side, and she requires patience with handling on her right side. She has worn a ba****ck pad and we are working toward her first saddling. She has not been lunged on a line in the last year, as her owner had a back injury and did not want to risk any sharp pulls. I will be refreshing that as well. She does round pen beautifully, and has very nice, consistent gaits.
I have not measured her, but I estimate she’s about 14.2hh. I am willing to measure her by request for an exact height.

2 🥕🥕🥕 takes her. Carrots are somewhat flexible but will increase with time and training put into her.
She is located in Carrizozo, NM.
I will be getting updated, better quality pictures next week.

Freckles is a " half draft" Percheron cross . She is a flea bit gray, she is 16 hands and super gentle. She rides great on trails..moves off nicely. She was used as a pack horse in Colorado as well as experienced in pulling logs. She loads easily, has manners and needs someone to give her a forever family. She is 10 or 11 years old and will make anyone a super nice forever horse. $2500

Jasper is a paint gelding 13 hands and safe as they come. He has been riden all over even hunting. He has been shot off and is been in parades..he's got a great mind. He loves attention and comes running when he sees you coming. Your kids need this guy!! Or anyone who's confidence has been shaken by a horse..he will help you gain it back. $4000

Black and white paint mare 4 years old. This girl Is broke to ride and knows how to lay down for you. She can be tricky to catch sometimes but is easy with a bucket of food to catch. Sje is about 3 months Bred to a mammoth jack currently and throws beautiful color in her foals. $2000

Black and white paint filly 6 months old. Weened 2 weeks ago. Leads and loads in a trailer. Picks up front feet and is still learning the ropes on being handled. She's a very fast learner and is built nice and already 13 hands tall. $500

I have trained about 300 wild mustangs over the past 7 years. And without contest mares are where it's at..this person very accurately describes mares. As for me and my kids..we will ride mustang mares. Picture below are my mustang mares

Although this is true for good horses in general, if you’ve ever watched natural wild horses, you understand why mares are the way they are. Give birth to a foal and immediately have to defend it from prey, mares usually have big ears which allows them to hear prey coming, raised senses in general because not only do they have to fend for themselves but also a foal who is not capable of just running away. Mares are often ready to stay to fight if needed, stand their ground.
“There’s something different about the way a good mare connects with her rider. It’s special. Like an unspoken agreement. Once a mare chooses you as her person, it’s like she has an instinct to protect you, to fight for you. It’s almost as if she takes ownership of you.
I believe the good mares have a deep sense of intuition. They can read your mind. They know what you’re thinking even before you do. The good mares I know breathe fire in the face of challenge and then somehow, miraculously, know to quiet themselves when a timid child is plopped on their back for a pony ride.
They are clever, cunning and calculated, which can be your greatest enemy or your saving grace. The good mares I know do not tolerate egotistical riding. They do not tolerate force. They demand tact, finesse and emotional control. But once you have won a mare’s heart, you have won all of her. In exchange for your best—and nothing less—she will give you everything.”

Octavia is a 3yo filly from Goshute, Nevada. She stands around 13.3h She is an easy keeper and does fine in a mixed herd (mares/geldings). She’s very sweet/easy to get along with and will come up to you in the pasture. She knows all of her basic groundwork and has a good start on her, she will W/T/C, go through creeks, over logs and down the road. She rides with a group or on her own just fine. She’s still green but is coming along nicely! Videos in comments

It's so humbling watch young girls do such incredible work and excell so fast and far with wild horses..here is another filly available in Stigler. I personally know and have witnessed this young trainer work and train mustangs..and she's captivating. I could watch her and her sister allday.
