Annie has a long nose. She tries to creep up the scent cone and I popped the bird as soon as she moved. Then I let her roll to see if she would hold until I got in gunshot range. She did hold and I popped the bird. The next bird will be a bird shot over her to reinforce steady to flush and see how she retrieves a fresh shot bird.

Note To Self:

Meta Glasses do not have a peripheral view so you must keep them somewhat centered.

Here is Banjo doing a drill with a pigeon who decided not to cooperate. However it's not all bad as the bird flushed when he applied to much pressure (chase). So a two for one special. 😂

Next time I'll remember to keep him in the frame. It's different with a phone camera as what you see is what you get. Not so with these glasses.

Annie is a bit sensitive and it took her a bit to understand and work through the pressure of the check cord training for WHOA. Now we are overlaying the e-collar. So far, so good.

Miggs is back on pointing drills after taking the chase out with Stop to Flush and tossed pigeon drills. This is only his third or fourth session where I've let him point. I started adding another dog as distraction after the second session. This method makes things come together so simply and quickly as long as your foundation is solid. Things will move extra quickly from here.

And that intensity and style screams confidence! Even the horsefly couldn't shake his commitment to the job.

Bose had some trouble with flagging early on but it's slowly working itself out.
