🐾✨ Inspiring Future Veterinarians! ✨🐾

Over the past few weeks, members of our amazing team at Cross Point Veterinary Clinic have had the privilege of participating in Career Days at local elementary and middle schools — and what a rewarding experience it has been! (Taft Junior High, TM Clark Elementary, Skidmore Tynan elementary.

We brought along fun props, engaging demonstrations, and shared stories about what a day in the life of a veterinarian looks like. From curious questions to wide-eyed excitement, the students reminded us just how inspiring and important this work truly is.

It’s our joy to give back to the community by encouraging the next generation of animal lovers, science enthusiasts, and (maybe!) future veterinarians. Who knows — one of the kids we spoke to may be caring for your pets someday!

Thank you to the schools who welcomed us so warmly, and to all the students who made us smile with their enthusiasm and kindness. 🐶🐱🐴🩺

Hi there! Friendly REMINDER!

We know life gets busy — and making time for your pet’s vet visit during a hectic week isn’t always easy. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new Drop-Off Program, available every Wednesday!

🐶 What’s New?
You can now drop your pet off in the morning and pick them up as late as 5 PM, giving you more flexibility to fit veterinary care into your day.

📅 How It Works:

Drop off your pet between 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM on Wednesdays

Our veterinary team will complete their exam or treatment during the day

You’ll receive a call or text update when your pet is ready

Pick up any time before 5:00 PM (Doctors will be unavailble after 4 PM)

💲A $20 convenience fee applies to each drop-off appointment.

Whether it’s for a wellness check, ongoing care, or something new you’ve noticed — we’re here to help on your schedule.

📲 Spots are limited each week! Reserve a drop-off appointment easily by calling the clinic at (361)528-5269.

🐱 Drop off your pet between 7:30–9:30 AM on Wednesdays.
🕔 Pick up anytime before 5:00 PM.
💵 Just a $20 convenience fee.

✅ Great for routine technician exams, mild illnesses, and follow-ups.
🔒 Space is limited to 6 drop-offs per Wednesday!

Our Story

Dr. Cox purchased Floerke Veterinary Clinic in 2017 and transitioned the practice to become Cross Point Veterinary Clinic (CPVC) shortly thereafter. Floerke Vet Clinic was established in 1983 as a one doctor, one exam room practice. Today, CPVC exists in the same location as Floerke Vet Clinic but with 2 doctors, 5 exam rooms, a surgery room, pharmacy, and lobby area. The building itself has changed immensely, but the excellent service and small-town feel, has remained constant through the years.
