My wonderful Maya is home in a beautiful box. They also gave me an angel pin. Thank you. I now have a place to talk to Maya and I don't feel so alone now.

It might be time to say goodbye to Maya soon.
Yesterday she stopped eating.
She has stopped using her back legs.
Today she constantly holds her head under her like she's in a downward dog pose.
I am trying to get a vet appointment but my work schedule is getting harder to work around.
I have spent the past few days in tears when I'm not at work.
Maya has been my best friend and companion since I was 11 years old. I love this sweet dog. I hoped she'd make it to 16 years in April.
I love you Maya and I always will.
