Finally something exciting to report 🤩 Pending AKC confirmation, I present to you:

CH Alki Stars Trust the Emerald Dragon “Tess” aka Hot Mess Tess 😂😂🥹

I love my crazy girl to pieces even through our long process to get here 🥰 From my first litter of my show pups, she is the second from this litter to finish, after her brother “Bear” (CH Alki Stars First Things First Beresheith). I’ve learned so much along the way- mapping breedings, picking keepers, persistence, sportsmanship. I strive to improve, especially with each misstep, for my dogs, my kennel, my family, the people that I interact with.

To my mentors- thank you for your time, wisdom, patience and tough love. I wouldn’t see what I see and keep pushing forward without it ❤️

Some fun show news from the weekend! Saturday our up-and-coming future stud “Thaddeus” went Best of Winners, Best of Opposite for 2 points, and Reserve Winners Dog on Sunday, and our Emma daughter from her first litter, “Tess” went Best of Winners Sunday for 2 points, leaving 3 singles left for her Champion title 🥹

I’ve had a couple interactions recently with potential puppy buyers and I thought I would post here a little bit about myself and how I personally do business.

I come from a long line of animal caretakers (farmers/ranchers/etc.) and it was instilled in me at a young age to be a good steward of the animals in my stead. In the scope of dog breeding, that also means ensuring the placement of a dog or puppy is in the best interest of the animal AND the family.

**I will never encourage or force a sale that goes against my intuition, in fact I will likely talk you out of a sale if I don’t think that particular dog or puppy (or even my program) is a good fit for your situation**

I am always willing to take a pup back if it for any reason doesn’t work out, but I really want to get it right the first time to save both puppy and family heart ache. I am here as support for the lifetime of my puppies and beyond, in successes and hard lessons.

Little babes ventured out to the vet Wednesday and she reported no hernias, and all are looking healthy ❤️ Litter is now live on Good Dog and will be on AKC Marketplace today. They will be 2 weeks old tomorrow 🤩
