We would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Justin Hennessy, the newest member of our local veterinary team at Arbor Valley Animal Clinic. Dr. Hennessy joins us as a passionate and dedicated young veterinarian, ready to provide exceptional care for our beloved pets and animals.
A familiar face to many, Dr. Hennessy is a proud graduate of Waverly High School. His journey continued at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he made his mark not only in academics but also on the wrestling mat. For four years, he demonstrated remarkable skill and perseverance as a collegiate wrestler, traits that undoubtedly contribute to his compassionate and meticulous approach to veterinary care.
Dr. Hennessy’s dedication to animals and veterinary medicine led him to Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated in 2024. His extensive education and hands-on experience ensure that our furry friends are in excellent hands.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Hennessy likes to spend his free time lifting weights, going fishing, and supporting his local community. Dr. Justin is engaged to Cassandra Pickrel of York, Nebraska. The couple is excited to become a part of the community here in Syracuse and can’t wait to share their enthusiasm for local life and activities.
Arbor Valley Animal Clinic is thrilled to have Dr. Hennessy on board. He will be a great asset to our practice. His blend of compassion and meticulous care are sure to make a positive impact on the clinic and the wider community. We invite everyone to join us in welcoming Dr. Hennessy and to come by the clinic to meet him and learn more about the exceptional care he’s eager to provide.

Oak Street has become a nursery for two mama cats and their kittens. Neither residence can have cats nor do they want them. One litter is inside of a wood pile and the other litter is under a sun room deck of a different house. They will have to be lured out. They are yours for FREE if you come get them. PM us if you have questions or would love to have a whole new family of cats.
