Congratulations to all Eli and Simba’s fellow competitors on their makeover colts. It was great getting to know each of you and seeing your horses in person. Simba did a fantastic job in his confirmation class trotting along on a loose line and standing quietly for the judges, and in his Ranch Trail he was the first go and the roping dummy caught his eye before entering the arena and he said right there and then I am out and Eli did a great job staying calm and helping him through. It was a tuff stuff as Eli and Simba roped that exact same dummy through out the week and he could care less about it. Horses have the best way of keeping you humble. 🤗 Simba did great in our liberty demo on Wednesday ,showing everyone how we start young horses at liberty and then riding work with an other horse at liberty. Simba did not reach his reserve in the sale and we look forward to continuing his journey advancing him into his 4 year old year .We really enjoy watching all the clinics throughout the weekend, learning so much from great Trainers and programs, you come home with fresh ideas and goals to work for . If you’re a horse lover that wants to advance in multiple directions this is your place to be .
