For those freezing toy treats for your pups! ⏬️ Check this out!

⚠️WARNING WHEN FREEZING TREAT TOYS

Please ensure that if you are stuffing treat toys and freezing them for your pets to help keep them cool, dont forget to ensure there is a HOLE ALL OF THE WAY THROUGH IT.

WHY YOU MAY ASK ?

Toys such as Kongs have 2 holes in their toys for a reason - TO PREVENT SUCTION.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT ?

When your pet licks at the contents of the toy or squeezes it in its mouth, their tongue can get SUCKED into the hole and get STUCK on the dogs tongue and cause horrific injuries to the point where the animal can actually die.

Having 2 HOLES in the toy PREVENTS this from happening.

So if you STUFF your toys with treats, push a straw through it to ensure the 2 HOLES ARE NOT BLOCKED.

If you are going to FREEZE the toy, do so with the straw in place and then REMOVE the straw before giving it to your pet.

So when buying your pet toys, please keep this in mind.

This is great! I've never fed straight dry kibble! I ALWAYS add water to my dogs food then feed immediately. Try it!!!

HYDRATION 💦

Hydrating your dog is something so simple but it's actually so overlooked and most people don't think about hydrating when it comes to meal times.

If your dog is eating a kibble diet, they are more prone to dehydration. This is because the dry kibble requires moisture for digestion. When your dog is not adequately hydrated, the body pulls water from the internal organs to digest the kibble and this can lead to the state of mild dehydration. Even if they are drinking throughout the day, the digestion process pulls water from their system after eating.

One of the best and easiest thing you can do as a kibble feeder is HYDRATE YOUR DOGS FOOD!

Adding water to kibble softens it for digestion and hydrates your dog's body systems.

Great options to hydrate kibble include
💧Filtered Water
💧Coconut Water
💧Bone Broth
💧Goat's Milk
💧Decaffeinated Green Tea (aids in cancer prevention)

Quick Tip - you can freeze all of the above in trays or silicone molds and then pop out a cube or two and melt with hot water at meal time!

*Always give your dog access to fresh water at all times

*Always rest your dog after eating any meal. Never exercise your dog immediately after eating due to risk of bloat

Hey Friends! It's been a minutes since I've posted! I'm still here, just trying to figure moving still! I have a month and half left in my current home! I have a temporary place lined up, but still no luck on something more permanent! That being said....

My last puppy found his forever home with Alice in St George, Utah! I'm so excited for him. He has a big job ahead. He'll be trained for service! Can't wait to see how he does!
