Bailey likes to be involved and when she isn’t, she’ll be happy to tell you how she feels about it. She can be unsure of new people, especially men, and her low confidence at times makes her reactions unpredictable from showing you her belly, or her teeth. These issues along with needing some basic obedience knowledge landed Bailey in our board and train program. I have had a string of spicy females as board and trains, and Bailey will certainly be no different. We can’t wait to see her potential!

Cali, Theo and Beans are loving this cooler weather. These 3 dogs have very different personalities and that distinctly shows when they are off leash. Cali loves to throttle ahead full speed, Theo prefers to trot the trail next to you or chase the lead dog and Beans likes to take side quests into the woods, off trail. Having reliable recall and boundaries means all 3 of these cuties can enjoy a hike safely off leash doing what they please. One of the most invigorating parts of training is finding out what motivates your dog. We hope you all adventure today! 💜💛

Maverick is back home with his family after completing his board and train! He learned to understand signals from other dogs, respecting boundaries, especially knowing when enough is enough. He’s able to show affection or playfulness with another dog, without completely overwhelming them. We can’t wait to see all the new friends he makes and old friends he can now better understand. Great job, Maverick! We miss you already! 💜💛

Congrats to our group lesson clients for all their dedicated learning alongside their dogs! Our last session was abuzz with excitement as everyone passed their test outs and received their certificates. If you weren’t able to make graduation, we will be in touch to get your test in. Great job, everyone! 💜💛

Some of the commands and behaviors these dogs have worked on;

- Recall
- Sit
- Place
- Heel
- Managing excitement
- Manners (Not jumping, nipping)

These sweet boys sure appreciated the weather being a bit cooler today! Maverick has been working hard on how he handles himself around other pups when he’s excited. Today he hiked an hour and a half with Beans and no growling, no slapping with paws, but still lots of zoomies. Keep it up, Maverick! 💜💛

This goofy boy joins us for a board and train and approaches things in life full throttle. If he’s excited about something, which he is about most things, we are heading there 😅. He has incredibly stability in some ways - he will wait still as a statue for a treat. However, a toy, dog, leaf blowing in the wind… gotta have it right now! Maverick wants so badly to play with dogs, but comes on strong and doesn’t let up or recognize boundaries. This sweet boy came to party and we are going to have some fun!! Let’s go, Maverick! 💜💛
