This is Tater who likes to pull on leash and chase squirrels. This is a normal way for dogs to behave but can be a serious issue for older humans who care for them. This is Alma. Alma is a sweet girl who barks a lot. She barks especially when people enter her house or when she wants food. Alma has been learning to settle on a cot and practice observing the world without reacting. Today I came in and out of her house many times. She played games with her people and didn't barks much at all 🤗 Keep it up Alma!

Georgia is a Great Pyranes mix and blends in quite well with her bed! This summer I am working with Georgia and her human to build confidence so that she can go for walks in her somewhat noisy urban neighborhood. Lucy is a black mouth cur pup just under one year. Like many adolescent dogs she has a hard time calming down. Lucy's people have been working with Never Fear Dog training to teach Lucy settling skills and different activities that can use all her energy in a productive way. Today we learned how to walk on a long line and play with tug toys at the park. Lucy worries about noises and gets overstimulated outdoors. A long line gives her more freedom and choice outside and makes her feel more confident. I cant wait to see this pup's progress!!

New year, new pups! Meet Mabel, a soft coated wheaton terrier puppy, one of my new clients in 2025! I met this little girl, Jolene, last week! 💖 Jolene has big feelings about people entering her house. We practiced small approximations of me coming in and out of the house with lots of cheese involved 🧀 By the end of the session I could leave the house and come back inside without upsetting Jolene. Her mom left a review: "Natalie came over tonight to help us with our extra barky Chihuahua, Jolene. I'm very impressed with how much we learned and how well our girl did in just our first 1 hour consultation. 10/10 highly recommend 👌🏻" Do you have a dog who barks at visitors? I would love to help!

Aww hi Oliver and Ginger! Oliver and Ginger are two young pups working with me and their humans on having a rocket recall! 🚀 These guys get to run at a big off leash dog park but they are not always reliable at coming back. Ginger especially is very invested in tracking and hunting so we are using tools from predation substitute training to meet her need to sniff and track while working with her to be more reliable. Keep it up pups!
