Riders have thirteen training and show rings to choose from creating a pleasant environment for training or pleasure. Adjacent to the facility are more then 200 acres of additional parkland with a variety of trails to enjoy and explore. We regularly host shows and events for the enjoyment of both riders and spectators. Our banquet facility can accommodate guests for a wedding, reception or party. The facility is also an ideal setting for movie or television filming or photo shoots

hosted a clinic with Karen Healey here at Hansen Dam Horse Park.  

Since coming to California in the 1980’s, Karen’s riders have won 100+ medal finals. Karen has trained numerous hunters and jumpers to acclaim, from indoors to national championships to medals at  North American Youth Jumping Championships and Prix des States. 

We love seeing Hansen Dam Horse Park riders furthering their education!

Exciting upgrades in progress for the Larry Langer Arena! 🚧 

We’ve removed the fence separating the jumper warm up with the hunter warm up to improve .  

The new arena will be larger, with sand footing throughout and more flexibility when completed.  

We cannot wait for you all to see this upgraded space!

Blue Shadows Mounted Drill Team had a great night at their first Adult Horse & Drill class!  
 
This eight-week course covers everything from:  
📚 Grooming 
📚 Saddling  
📚 Basic Riding Skills 
📚 Drill Fundamentals  

For the first meeting they went over ranch rules and general safety procedures.  

We cannot wait to see what the coming weeks bring for those participating in this program!
