This week is National Veterinary Technician Week! 🩺🐾

We use this week to recognize and spoil our veterinary technicians and assistants who make such a difference in the lives of our patients, their families, and our entire team! Our team received personalized goodie bags Monday, and yesterday they had a dinner on us at Los Rancheros.

From monitoring anesthesia and administering medications to comforting nervous pets, supporting our veterinarians, and being a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves, our technicians wear so many hats every single day. Their knowledge, compassion, dedication, and hard work are essential to the care we provide, and we are endlessly grateful for everything they do. ❤️ Help us celebrate our amazing team this week!

Can you grab one of these items on your next errand run? 🛒

We are collecting item donations for kellyrandelfoundation in our lobby until the end of the month. These items go in their “Baskets for Breasties” that are delivered to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients beginning their chemotherapy at 12 local hospitals. Our staff member, Carly, received a basket from them and felt moved to pass on the giving! 🩷

*The Kelly Randel Foundation asks that donors stick to these brands, as they curate their items based on an oncologist’s discretion.

While we always strongly recommend a secure carrier for safety, it can be a bit of a running joke in vet med what creative ways cat parents find to get their cats transported - Dexter was a great example. 😂
