Chilly outside but when you're enjoying yourself you don't really notice. Sunshine and getting away for a bit felt good. Ice still on water and dirt road in places sounded like pavement underneath the horse hooves. Winter storm Elliot gave us some unique experiences along the ride today.

Girls afternoon trail ride. Good horses and good company with hot chocolate afterwards makes for wonderful afternoon.

Christmas theme lesson with bows and ornaments. Read and learned parts of a horse and marked them with bows. Rode and practiced scooping ornaments from one bucket and riding balancing them to another bucket. Worked on fine motor skills using cute, colored clothespins. Peppermint snacks for treats afterwards on this cold day.

🎶Walking through the leaves on a 2 horse fun trail ride, through the woods we go, laughing all the way. Bells on Eddie ring, making spirits bright. What fun it is to ride and sing a trail ride song today. OH, Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way....🎶

We had bells on Queen and Eddie. It sounded so pretty walking through the woods.
