We offer a diverse range of clinics and immersive equine retreats designed to build skill, confidence, and connection. Cowpoke Corner came about from a lifelong love of horses and the old west. I wanted to create a business that brings quality fine art and handmade leather accessories with that nostalgia of the wild west to my customers. One clinic and one camp coming up! 🤠

Whether you’re preparing for the WSSH shows or simply wanting to improve your horsemanship, this beginner-friendly clinic is designed to build confidence, precision, and partnership. The morning session will focus on body control, reining maneuvers, and preparing your horse for lead changes and spins. A healthy farm-to-table lunch is included. In the afternoon, we’ll move into cow work with body positioning on cattle, flag work, and live cattle practice.

The camp is designed to inspire the gritty cowgirl in all of us. We’ll start with Liberty work on the ground to develop a deeper partnership with your horse while building confidence in your riding and body control. From there, we’ll progress into beginner cow work with flag and dummy drills before moving onto live cattle. You’ll also learn the fundamentals of roping—starting on the ground with a dummy and progressing to horseback work on the sled—while refining timing, balance, and feel.

Spend the day learning, gathering cattle, and riding in beautiful country. Evenings include farm-to-table meals, drinks, campfires, and good stories, with a professional photographer there to capture every hard-earned moment along the way.

It’s rare to come home from a horse show feeling energized instead of drained, but the NWRCHA Cowgirl Classic was such a blast. Even with some tough, uncooperative cattle, it was such a great experience. We still managed to bring home a first place check in the Level 1 Open Hackamore, and more importantly, my horse improved and I learned a lot.

That’s what I love about cowhorse. It’s incredibly difficult, humbling, and full of variables you can’t control. The level of talent in both the horses and horsemen is unreal, and there’s always something exposing the holes in your program while pushing you to grow.

We’re absolutely crazy for choosing a sport this challenging… but that’s also what makes it so addicting. So dang fun, endlessly humbling, and always leaving me hungry to come back better.
