🎉 Meet Our New Groomer — Shawn! 🎉
We’re so excited to welcome Shawn to the Country Style Pet Salon team! He’ll be joining us starting July 25th and is now accepting appointments!

🗓 Shawn’s Schedule:
• Friday & Saturday: 9am – 6pm
• Sunday: 10am – 3pm

Shawn brings 5 years of professional grooming experience and a genuine love for animals. Here is a little bit about him:

“Hi! I’ve been grooming professionally for 5 years and specialize in terrier breeds — I love their unique coats and bold personalities. That said, I have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m all about creating a positive, stress-free experience for each pet, making sure they’re comfortable while getting them cleaned up and looking their best. I also have two cats of my own and a lifelong love for animals, which fuels my passion for grooming every day.”

‼️ Summer adventures mean more time by the water with our dogs — but be aware of a serious risk ‼️

Salmon Poisoning Disease is a potentially FATAL condition that affects dogs who eat raw or dead fish from local rivers and streams. It’s unique to the Pacific Northwest and caused by a parasite in the fish that carries Neorickettsia helminthoeca, a deadly bacteria.

If your dog eats contaminated fish, symptoms usually show up in 5–7 days:
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Lethargy
• Loss of appetite
• Fever
• Swollen lymph nodes

✅ It’s treatable if caught early — but can be deadly if not.
🚫 While you’re out cooling off with your pup, don’t let them eat or play with raw/dead fish OR fish remains, or scavenge along riverbanks.

Let’s keep our dogs safe this summer! 🐶💦
