We’re excited to share that, through our partnership with Humane World for Animals, Monadnock Humane Society received 30 pallets of food, litter, and essential supplies from Chewy ! 🐾📦

Thanks to this generous delivery, we’ve been able to restock our Pet Food Pantry and continue supporting pets and families right here in our community. ❤🧡💙

A huge thank-you to Humane World for Animals and Chewy for helping us keep pets healthy, fed, and with the people who love them. 🐶🐱✨

PETS OF THE WEEK

Stu, 4.5 years & Ernie, 2.5 years
Male Guinea Pigs

Meet Ernie and his lively young sidekick, Stu—an adorable, rambunctious guinea pig duo who give off strong Carl and Russell vibes from Up! Originally obtained from Petco at different times, these two quickly bonded and have been inseparable ever since. Their previous family loved them but wanted them to have more time and attention than they could give. While still undersocialized and not yet comfortable being handled, with patience and gentle care, Ernie and his energetic buddy are sure to build trust and bring plenty of joy to their new home. If you think they’d make your home happier, come meet them during our open hours, Thursday-Sunday from 11-3. December 8, 2025

🐾 Final Hours of Giving Tuesday 🐾

As the day winds down, we want to share one more story. It is a reminder of why your support matters so much.

Meet Nyx! Nyx is a sweet and energetic husky who arrived at MHS needing significant help. When he was surrendered, he was dealing with stomach issues and living with severe, chronic pain from a long-standing hip injury. Our medical team discovered a left hip luxation along with a torn ligament, an injury that had caused him pain and discomfort for far too long. ❤️‍🩹

Nyx underwent major surgery and then began a long recovery filled with medication, rest, and careful monitoring. Through every moment, he remained gentle, hopeful, and trusting.

Nyx’s new beginning came when a loving family stepped forward to foster him. They stayed by his side as he healed and soon realized he belonged with them. They adopted him and continued his recovery with patience and devotion. Today, he is thriving, full of energy, and finally free from pain.

This is what your generosity creates. It brings healing. It brings comfort. It gives animals the chance to live the lives they deserve. 🐾

As we reach the final stretch of Giving Tuesday, we are close to meeting our goal of raising $13,000. Your gift today helps provide lifesaving care, medical treatment, and safe shelter for animals just like Nyx. 🐶

If you have not given yet, please consider making a gift tonight using the link below.
If you have already given, thank you. Your kindness changes lives every single day.

Thank you for believing in second chances and for supporting our mission. ❤🩵🧡
