Mattamuskeet Seafood

Mattamuskeet Seafood We are a Blue Crab and Oyster processor. We are a family owned and operated business since 1984.

Mattamuskeet Seafood is a wholesaler for North Carolina fine crab meat, jumbo lump crab meat, backfin crab meat, claw meat, cocktail claws, Crabber's Choice Premium Crab Cakes and North Carolina Oysters. Our company was opened in 1984 and remains family owned and managed. After working in the commercial seafood industry for many years, family members decided to take the next step and build a crab

meat processing plant. The seafood that they brought to the docks was then manufactured and sold to wholesale markets. Over the years, we have grown and gained a valued reputation for quality and freshness of our crab meat, which is marketed under the Clearview label. We were the first company to pack our crab meat in a clear container to display our exceptional product.

I know many people are wondering about taking donations to the sheriff’s office. Donations will be taken at any time, no specific day. They are trying to fill a trailer and will leave with it when it’s filled. If no one is in the office when you bring your donation, it can be left by the door or in the lobby and it will be gotten. Let’s get the trailer filled! We have a group of deputies already there, with plans to send another group when the first returns home.

Editing to add that any donation is welcome. Clothes (used clean clothes are ok, socks and underwear do need to be new however), canned/non perishable foods, water, hygiene items, toiletries, shoes, diapers, baby bottles and formula. These folks have lost everything, any donation you can think of is welcomed.
