🚨 Parvo Isn’t “Just a Puppy Sickness” — It’s a Silent, Stinky Killer 🚨
Canine Parvovirus (Parvo) is one of the most dangerous diseases a dog can face. It attacks fast, spreads easily, and can become fatal within days — sometimes hours — if not treated.
🦠 Why Parvo is so dangerous:
• It destroys a dog’s immune system
• Causes severe vomiting and bloody diarrhea
• Leads to rapid dehydration and shock
• Can survive on surfaces for months, even in clean environments
💔 Puppies are most at risk, but unvaccinated dogs of any age can get Parvo. Treatment is intensive, expensive, and heartbreaking — and even then, survival is not guaranteed.
💉 The good news? Parvo is preventable, & A LOT cheaper than treatment. Great ways to prevent it?
- Vaccinate your puppies
- Practice proper hygiene with your puppy & other puppies
- Do NOT touch puppies without asking owners
- Avoid high-risk areas can save lives.
⚠️ If your dog shows lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting, or diarrhea — don’t wait. Early treatment can mean the difference between life and death.
Protect them. Educate others. Parvo doesn’t give second chances. 🐾
