If you’ve ever experienced the peace, beauty, and hard work that lives here you’ve felt the heartbeat of our mom and dad. They are the quiet strength behind our ranch, the ones with their boots on the ground day in and day out, pouring love, sweat, and selfless effort into everything that makes this ranch what it is.

Truth is, Butte Star Ranch wouldn’t be what it is without them. From early mornings to late nights, they give without asking for recognition and today, we just want to say thank you. 🙏🏼

Bryson & Taylor’s Wedding Day

What an absolutely gorgeous wedding this was! Every detail felt personal and from the handcrafted arbor made by Bryson himself to the vintage truck that brought Taylor to the aisle. It was truly a day to remember.

We’re so grateful Bryson and Taylor chose Butte Star Ranch to host their special day. The love between them was unmistakable, and the beauty of the ranch made the perfect backdrop for the start of their forever.

Our barn dance is just around the corner! We can’t wait to see you there for a night of great food, fun, and dancing in the barn! We have secured DJ Chili & have a delicious dinner spread planned. There will be drinks available for purchase. Dress code is whatever you're most comfortable in, but it will be chilly so dress warm. Link to purchase tickets will be in the comments. Butte Star Ranch is a family owned and operated business established in 2004 by the Handy family. The ranch rests on 20 acres at the base of the Sutter Buttes in Sutter, CA, located just six miles west of Yuba City. It is our mission to treat everyone, two-legged or four, with respect and care. We strive to preserve the western way of life while maintaining a relaxing and safe environment for all to enjoy. We offer a wide range of services including horse boarding, horse riding lessons, weddings, and more just outside of Yuba City!
