It’s August already?! Time for another Dog of the Month! Make some noise for Rufus!! 🎉 He is a super sweet and friendly guy 😌 He loves snuggles with staff, romping with his furry friends, tearing up toys, and splashing in the pool 🐕💦🦴 in his free time he enjoys fishing at the park 🐟 Congrats Rufus!! 🩷😁

Hi everyone, we have some exciting news! Meet Sophia, who is joining our team starting in August as a Trainer and Grooming Assistant 💪 🧼

Keri gets more and more grooming requests everyday, and while that is awesome, she can’t accommodate everyone on her own. Sophia will be coming in to help lessen the load! She will handle Spa Baths and A La Carte services on Mondays-Thursdays, and two Saturdays a month. In turn, we can help more clients and Keri can focus on full grooming services. Win, win!! 🙌

Additionally, Sophia will be hosting group training classes! 🦮

Mondays and Tuesdays at 2pm and 5:30pm to start

Basics 1 will include:
•Sit
•Stay/wait/release command
•Recall/come
•Down/settle

Once passing Basics 1, clients can move on to Basics 2, which will include:
•Place command
•Leave it
•Heel/loose leash walking (this can take up to 2 weeks)

Classes will be 4 weeks in length with weekly 1 hour sessions

Capacity of 4 dogs per class

All classes include a training guide for weekly skill, email support between sessions, weekly homework, and a certificate of completion

$120 for 4 week course

Here is a biography from Sophia:

“I've been working directly with dogs for several years and have had the privilege of engaging with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I believe that every behavior, whether positive or challenging, has a root cause. Lasting results come from understanding where those behaviors begin and working daily to improve them.

My goal is not only to help dogs succeed but to empower their owners with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful at home. Training doesn't end when a dog leaves class—it's just the beginning. I'm committed to building confident, lasting relationships between dogs and their families through clear communication, consistency, and individualized training techniques.

I obtained my education at the Animal Behavior Instutute which focuses on LIMA (Least Aversive Minimally Invasive). Not all dogs are the same and will respond effectively to the same training style. I enjoy working with owners to find the best way to achieve their goals with their pets.”
