So, I did a thing.

Rumspringa’s In Quintum Novembris “Monte” from

Monte came home the week of Halloween technically, so his name is paying homage to one of Australia’s most famous haunted houses - the Monte Cristo Homestead. His registered name was after I took a deep dive into the history of Halloween and learned all kinds of cool stuff. His first night home on the farm was yesterday, 11/5. His registered name is after a poem about the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, also known as Bonfire Night which commemorated a failed assasination attempt of James l of England.

This little dude and I are going to have a lot of fun dipping our toes into all kinds of non-Schutzhund sports (unless he keeps it up with his prey drive, who knows 🤣). We’ll dabble in herding, conformation, agility, dock diving, fly ball, maybe even some competition OB.

And then there were four. 😅
