Our Next Breeding Highlight

This includes our very first pairing to include both parents having our herd name.

🌟This pedigree is packed full of Elite list goats. If you like Elite genetics, this pairing is one you can't miss.

🏆Infinity's Sire made the Elite list for the second year in a row postmortem. Infinity also has many paternal sisters who made the Elite list for 2024 and 2025. Oric's Dam and granddam both made the Elite list for 2025.

🐐I am really excited to finally see Infinity freshen this year as a 2-year-old. We see huge potential in her pedigree. I am already seeing characteristics in her from her Dam Tesseract, such as personality, coat texture, and body confirmation. I am hoping she matures just the same as her dam but can also bring in her Sire's proven dairyness and heavy milk production, the same as her paternal sisters have shown in other herds.

This Mix will be a fun one adding in more Castle Rock genetics from Oric's side including his famous gradsire Castle Rock Pinapple Express and many other highly sought after pedigrees from 40 West Farms and Moon Station. This will be Oric's first season so we are eager to see his first kids hit the ground in May. I am hoping he can show us his Pinaepple express genetics in his offspring and help improve body size from our smaller doe's.

Here are the much-needed updated photos of our Elite Doe.

Re-introducing Sonview Ranch Superfluous (10*M pending) Elite.

Somehow, getting photos of Wednesday this past year slipped through the cracks. But since the weather is nicer today, we decided to get quick photos of her for our breeding plan posters. This girl is almost 2 years old and so sweet and gentle. She knows her daily routine, and she lets us know if we are not sticking to the schedule. Her favorite thing to do is eat apples and get milked. She was the best mom to her first son, Oric, making sure he was kept fed and taught him how to goat. She was so attached that she thought she was dying when we had to separate them. That's a mother's love for sure.

We are so excited to watch her grow and mature this next kidding season. Over time, I would like to see her rear udder hight come in more and see more growth in her teat size. She definitely has the pedigree to back her up, and I expect with more time we will see her full capabilities.

She in 2025 she showed us how much potential to milk she has. I definitely believe her jumbo buckling helped show us her willingness to milk. So far she has milked 510 lbs of milk, 25lbs of butterfat and 25 lbs of protein during her 115 days in milk, making the elite list as a first fresher. And she is still not done milking yet.

Please be advised these photos are at the end of her lactation, during winter, and in-between milkings for the day.

For 2026 the 1st doelling is retained and the 2nd is reserved

Breeding season is here. Gingerbread Man spent New Year's Eve cuddling up with his three ladies. Just wanted to share how adorable this photo was. Hopefully, we'll see goat babies in May.

Goat Milk Star Announcement 🌟

We would like to formally announce the new titles of our does on milk test. Of course, the official stars are all pending due to ADGA not updating the stars on official documents at this time.

🌟 Bitterbrush Farm Rosa Sangria 8*M (Meeting her AR star in protein)

🌟 Quaking Canopy Hocus Pocus 4*M (Meeting her AR stars for both butterfat and protein)

🌟 Sonview Ranch Superfluous 10*M Elite (Meeting her AR stars for both butterfat and protein)

Volume requirements are needed for their sons to inherit their B*. We will continue milk testing them to meet their milk volume requirements. Pocus and Super, aka Wednesday, need one more milk test to meet their volume star requirements.

And Rosa will need 2-3 more tests to meet her volume requirements.

We are so proud of our herd and the direction it's going. We have worked so hard milking them twice a day the last few months to ensure they get their milk stars this year. It also helps that they all love being milked and are excited, willing participants. I can't thank my husband enough for helping milk goats and our awesome milk test supervisors.

We are approximately two weeks away from our breeding session. We anticipate our goats will be kidding during the last week of May or the first week of June.

Our initial breeding highlight is Gingerbread Man X Pocus.

We intend to retain one or two doelings from this pairing. Currently, one buck reservation and one doe reservation are available. We expect this to be a particularly impressive pairing, with the possibility of blue eyes and polled offspring. These kids will be available for purchase as ADGA registered animals only.

We got a morning surprise in the coop today. The moment I have waited for since this past May. A couple of our French Black Copper Maran pullets have laid their first eggs. I am so excited to see the other FBCM pullets and F3 Olive Eggers lay soon.

My jaw is dragging acrossed the floor. I can't believe after only being back into goats for 1 yr our FF made the Elite list for 2025

First Fresher is Elite 2025 (kidded with a single buckling)
She still has 2 more milk tests to officially earn her 10M*

I only had 3 girls kid this season and all 3 are on milk test. I never would have thought a small herd like ours would have an Elite doe. This is so crazy.

I don't have updated photos of SUPERFLUOUS aka Wednesday because she kidded in late fall and I didn't want to do show fills on her during milk testing. The weather didn't allow for photos either. But this is definitely a reason to get proper photos of her.

This lady is a milk machine milking 4.5 lbs of milk into her peak of lactation. I am so proud of our little doe. Thank you Teri Crowhurst for allowing us to bring this sweet girl home 1 year ago.

Wednesday is the dam to our upcoming Jr Herdsire Gold Run Creek Euphoric Haze.
