We want to thank everyone for reaching out with you kind words of support and encouragement. We also want to thank those who have surprised us with donation wether it be blankets and treats, monetary or their offer to help rebuild it means more to my family than you will ever know.
We have made the decision to rebuild, we are still figuring out logistics but in the mean time we will be down to our old capacity which is 5 family’s pups. We are hoping to be back to our extended capacity by the end of July. (That is if everything goes smooth 😆)
Once again thank you all so much I seriously don’t think I’ll be able to say it enough.

Wednesday was a devastating day here at offroad kennels. My chicken coop caught fire and quickly spread to the kennel building. No dogs were harmed or even exposed to smoke. The fire did however destroy our entire building, I am at a loss on how to describe how I am feeling. We were hopeful is was only the front half but upon inspection the fire had also cause quite a bit of damage to the second half as well.

Anyone who has current reservations with us you are still go to go my husband, kids and some awesome friends showed up yesterday and set up temporary area in my husbands shop to host all of your pups.

Long term decisions are still up in the air, OFFROAD Kennels is my dream, to watch it burn was incredibly hard, so right now we are playing the numbers game to see if we are able to rebuild and start fresh. I will update as our situation evolves.

When you stay home from school sick but moms working in the kennel, you snuggle into the dog bed with our sweet stay-over guest Bailey while mom and Alesha work.
Doesn’t get much better then sweet puppy cuddles when you are feeling under the weather.

Okay I know I said a we only had a few odds and ends to finish in the back kennels but…………

We (I) decided to paint Charlie thought blue would be a nice calming color so blue it is.

Also decided to do a stain refresh on all the boarder trim, it looks so nice and crisp now.

And finally the art work I love every one of them from the colors to how neat they are (it’s woven string).

New raised beds are on their way then it’s officially on to the front room. Well hopefully 😉

Just a few more small things to button up in the back half and then on to the front room.
We have enjoyed being able to take more pups for stay-overs and having that extra availability for our regular visitors while take on new ones.

I want to share Teddy with all of you because, Oh my goodness did this short legged, long eared guy bring me so much joy this weekend.
Just watching him zoom around making all those faces and those ears, boy I tell you they get all up in his way but that doesn’t slow him down.

Our best boy C**n passed away Sunday. He was 13yrs old it not any easier no matter how old or how good their life was. I was his person and he was my old man ( Mountain Lion), I will miss him everyday.
