🐾 Rescue Update: We Urgently Need Your Help 🐾
To everyone who has supported my rescue over the years—thank you. Your kindness, donations, encouragement, and shares have helped me save and care for so many cats and kittens. I truly couldn’t do this without you.
Today, I have to ask for help because things have become overwhelming.
My health has declined significantly. I live with constant pain, and despite being on medication, my body simply isn’t cooperating. The left side of my body is not functioning properly. I have heel spurs in both feet, severe pain in my left hip that now extends into my knee, and I’ve recently been experiencing intense dizziness whenever I sit up or stand. Even simple daily tasks, like cleaning litter boxes, have become exhausting, and there are times I feel like I may pass out.
My anxiety has also become much worse, making it difficult to leave my home.
Even with all of these challenges, the cats still need me every single day. They can’t wait until I feel better.
Right now, I have 27 cats and kittens in my care. They include bottle babies that require around-the-clock feedings, kittens just learning to eat on their own, and several cats recovering from upper respiratory infections. Every one of them depends on me for food, clean litter boxes, medication, and love.
I am at a critical point and urgently need help.
I am almost completely out of canned food and running dangerously low on litter. Without donations, I honestly don’t know how I’m going to keep up with their daily care.
Our Most Urgent Needs
🐾 Canned cat food, especially pâté varieties
🐾 Scoop Away litter from Costco (I don’t have a Costco membership.)
🐾 Any brand of canned cat food
🐾 Cleaning supplies, including paper towels, bleach, laundry detergent, disinfecting wipes, trash bags, and cleaning sprays
🐾 Monetary donations to help cover veterinary bills, medications, food, litter, and other rescue expenses
I also accept Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal for anyone who would like to make a financial contribution. Living on a fixed disability income makes it impossible to keep up with these expenses alone, especially with so many cats depending on me. Several still need veterinary care, and those costs continue to grow.
For those who have asked about adopting, I have many wonderful cats and kittens available now, with more who will be ready soon. If you’re interested in giving one of these amazing cats a forever home, please send me a private message. Many of the cats available for adoption are not currently pictured.
I have been giving lysine and taurine supplements to support the cats with colds and treating eye infections with Terramycin. Unfortunately, it isn’t working well enough. If anyone has unused, unexpired veterinary-prescribed antibiotic eye medication that your veterinarian says is no longer needed, please send me a private message.
I am also continuing to help my dear friend, Mini, who recently lost her husband. He was a veteran, talented artist, and lifelong collector. She is selling items from his collection, including signed artwork, authenticated Bee Gees memorabilia, Disney collectibles, Hallmark collectibles, antiques, tools, office furniture, movies, and many other unique treasures.
