Ciao, Paley, my one year old mini-dachshund international travel buddy! I flew from Phoenix to Dulles to pick him up. We took a red-eye flight to Rome on ITA Airlines, had a 2 hour layover, and then we were off to Bari, Italy. His owner was not not available to meet us, but had a driver meet us outside of security and Paley was off to live his best life in Europe! I flew back to Rome that afternoon, spent the night at the airport Hilton. Woke up early the next morning to take Iberia Airlines from FCO to Madrid to Chicago in Business class, and after a two hour layover, was upgraded to first class for my flight home to PHX! Total air miles: 12,740!

Paley could not have been more well behaved. Arrivederci my little friend!

This little darlin' was so calm all the way from Phoenix to Durango, I had to keep checking on her. She slept the entire flight. When we took off her name was Nelly. Upon landing in Durango her new name is Amiga. Have a wonderful life on those beautiful 40 acres, Amiga!

A perfectly pawsitive flight last Saturday with little Miss Ducky, the Yorkie pup, who moved from hot Phoenix to enjoy the cool, clear skies of Denver. She was met by her new family at the airport and you could feel love in the air, not just planes!

More puppies will be earning their wings in the next couple of weeks. I'll be headed to Durango, Cleveland and DFW!

Road trip, baby! Nacho and I rolled out of Gilbert, AZ and into Hemet, CA on Wednesday. We pawsed in Blythe, CA for some vital sustenance (and, you know, potty breaks). My trusty Bronco's back end is Nacho's happy place, where he gets to chill without breaking the "no paws on the ground" rule. What a stellar little traveler he is.
