Skylark x Kenai ‘Days Of The Week’ litter

2 weeks old! If you didn’t see my last post, the last few days have been busy here so I hadn’t had time to get pictures up, but finally able to! This will definitely be the last week I can take pictures holding the pups, they don’t all fit very nicely in two hands anymore! Their eyes are open and they can hear! They’re starting to walk around more now, able to keep their bodies slightly off the ground. One more week of strictly eating off mama and then they get introduced to mush (just ground up puppy food with water and a bit of milk replacer!) That’s when they start getting really messy as they learn to stand outside of the food bowl instead of in it..

They had their first round of dewormer and their nails clipped since turning two weeks! They’ve also met a couple new people and retro broke into their kennel so they had a very brief meeting with her 😂 once a mama always a mama I suppose!

If I’m a little slow to responding or updates for the next couple days, we’re extra busy with two tiny twins! Calves are usually around 85-110lbs at birth. These two are at the 25lb mark! Molly loves them tho.

We have a peeper! Friday is the first to open his eyes! The rest should follow in the upcoming days. Now’s when they start getting noisy, they can start to see and hear things and everything is so new! They start getting a bark as well instead of just tiny cries.

One week old already!

Whats upcoming for this week:
Pups eyes will start opening!

They’ll become more mobile! They’re already starting to standup a little more.

‘Days Of The Week’

These babies have grown so much already!! We use yarn for their collars for the first week, it’s easy to change out and it snaps easy if anything were to happen (like mama picking them up or little feet getting caught while eating) and they’ve already had to be upgraded from their birth ones!

We have two spots reserved for the females, meaning we have 3 female spots available yet and all 3 male spots.

Estimated size for these guys is 30-40lbs, they’ll have curly coats.

Introducing Skylarks ‘Days of the Week’ litter

These pictures are posted in birth order! Saturday was first born at 8:46pm on April 24th, Wednesday was last born at 2:15am…. There’s only 7 days in the week so since they were born in April, we decided to use that as well, and she looks like an April.

Surprise!!! We have puppies!

Skylark kept us busy last night with pups, she had her first at 8:46pm and her last at 2:14am! 5 girls and 3 boys. She had some very pretty boys this time, all 3 of them are parti! All her girls are tan-red besides her last little girl. She of course was amazing as always.

This is a Kenai x Skylark litter.

I will be getting back to everyone’s messages today, thank you for your patience, I know I’ve been slow at opening and responding lately.
