Everybody welcome Heart’n Soul and Lou’s Legacy’s Smooches’nSmores 🤭🐾

We drove a really long way for this one but I have a feeling it was worth it ☺️
S’mores is approx 1 years old and such a sweet little girl. We plan on getting started with her training immediately and hopefully we will have her to the vet within the next few days. She will be up for be adoption after she has completed her 6 week training course, been fully vaccinated, spayed, and evaluated behaviorally to see how she is with other dogs and environments.

Let’s talk about comfort cuts.
A comfort cut is when dogs are too old to stand still or fully cooperate with parts of the grooming process or sometimes the entire process all together. Instead of getting frustrated, making the dog sore, or stressing it out, sometimes it’s easier to just do what you can. You risk too much trying to make perfection happen and at what cost? The comfort and safety of the dog? No thanks. That’s why so many groomers offer comfort cuts and do their best to educate owners about their aging fur family. Humanity over vanity ALWAYS 🐾🫶🏻

Ruffie came and tolerated his comfort cuts today 🫶🏻🙏🏻 It never gets easier watching your clients dogs grow old but I take comfort in knowing they’re comfortable and safe with me 🙂
