Beetle Update.
Im not getting my hopes up but I spoke with a lady who I’m meeting with Saturday to see if her family can potentially help Beetle.

Unfortunately due to some behaviors displayed over the last day or so he is still a candidate for Behavioral Euthanasia. So many people and trainers have told me that’s probably his best bet but I at least to have talk with this one more lady.

Sometimes rescue sucks.

In the meantime I’m loving Beetle as much as I can. He’s eating all kinds of yummy food and tearing apart so many stuffed toys. He’s content for now.

BeetleJuice Update.
The unfortunate side of rescue.

If you or anyone you know has any recommendations for trainers or rescues who are more equip to deal with this dog please reach out. I don’t want euthanasia to be my only option. I’m beside myself but he can’t keep biting and he can’t live in a crate. Not his breed. I’m willing to drive him just about anywhere to get him the rehabilitation he needs.

S’more and BeetleJuice need more training and both of them are unaltered but after that is done and I feel they’ve been trained to my standard I will be advertising them as for adoption 🥳🥳

Yall meet BeetleJuice🪲 🧃
I pulled Beetle from a home on Thursday after he landed his fourth bite at just over a year old. I thought I was going to be working on quite a case with this dog but after 48 hours I’m almost positive every bite was handler error. I think this boy is just very misunderstood.

Beetle is an appropriately 1 1/2 year old husky pitbull mix. This dog is STRONG, mouthy, extremely vocal, and he packs quite a punch. You cannot let your guard down with Beetle. That being said, he really is a good boy. He just needs strong leadership and clear communication of boundaries. He is not a dog that you can assert your dominance over. You shouldn’t do that with ANY dog but if you try it with Beetle…. 👹👹 I feel bad for you. That’s essentially why I have him. Hotshot 20 something year old tried to play Cesar Milan and was petting this dog and taking his food away and then alpha rolled him 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Hotshot lost 🤣 and now I get to give Beetle a second chance where he can find a home that he’s respected and properly handled in. Not dominated.

In the upcoming weeks I’ll be learning more about Beetle and how to manage his resource guarding issues as well as where I wanna place him and what his future is gonna look like.
