Today, we saved two baby raccoons that we found in a subfloor of a home. After safely removing them, we cared for the babies until we could find the proper help they needed.

A huge thank you to Myrtle Beach Wildlife Rescue Center for stepping in, picking them up, and giving them a chance at a healthy life in the hands of trained wildlife rehabilitators. ❤️🦝

This is also a great reminder of why it’s so important to always call a wildlife professional when animals make their way into your home. Wildlife situations can be dangerous for both the animals and homeowners. Baby animals may be hidden, injured, or separated from their mother, and improper handling can cause unnecessary stress or harm. Professionals have the training and equipment to safely remove wildlife while giving them the best possible chance for survival.
