A little bit about myself. I grew up in a farming family with dogs, cats, horses and pigs.I have always wanted to have a career with animals. After high school I decided to attend The University of MN, Waseca branch. I graduated there with a 2 year degree of horse studies. After graduation i spent a year in Arizona on a Ranch that rented horses by the hour. After that year I missed my family and my pets so i came home to MN. From there I spent several years working in a screen printing factory where they printed on sweatshirts. The factory was sold after several years and moved so we all lost our jobs. I decided I wanted to continue with my passion of working with animals and did some research in other careers. I decided on grooming dogs. I found a school in Wisconsin that trained pet groomers. I graduated in March of 1998 and worked in a very busy shop in Owatonna MN until 2001 when I moved to Solon Springs. There I worked for Silverwood Kennels in Superior as a groomer. I have always wanted my own shop so this year March 1 I opened Animal Affair.
