Since 2017 I have worked as a professional dog trainer in a variety of settings, including board and train, day school, and in-home training. Each of these training styles offers unique benefits to human and dog clients. I chose to focus my business on in-home training because I feel that this style of training allows me to help clients build long lasting skills that are vital to building a harmon

ious existence with their dog. For example, I find that many clients struggle to translate skills their dog has mastered at school to the home environment. It probably won't shock most humans when I say that their dog is a faster learner than their humans. Sometimes the human needs a tutor to master their homework. I enjoy helping clients grow more confident in their practice of their pup's established skills. I also understand that some issues are very particular to the home environment and are best addressed in the home. Whether it is alerting to door bells or barking at neighbor dogs while on walks, I can help you and your dog find solutions to unwanted behavior in the environment where the unwanted behavior occurs. Finally, my focus on in-home training allows me to take the time to really get to know the individual humans and dogs that I am working with. I will help you develop a program that is authentic to you and your dog. The goal is to make sure the training program is manageable and fun - two key components to successful dog training. Do you offer pet friendly lodging outside the evacuation zone? (Hotels, motels, airbnb or campgrounds that are pet friendly for those that can’t board their pets.) If so, please reply here to help families stay together and get to safety. Include location & type/limits of pets please!

PLEASE SHARE THIS 💕🐶‼️
The air quality is very dangerous!!!‼️‼️Please pay extra close attention to pets with squished faces like Pugs, Bulldogs, Boston Terriers and cats like Persians and Himalayans! 🐶🐱 💕Here are some tips to keep you and your pets safe:

* Keep them indoors except for the shortest possible bathroom breaks (just a few minutes if they can tolerate it).

* Do not go for walks, runs, or play outside until the air quality improves.

* Keep indoor air as clean as possible by closing windows and doors, running your HVAC or air conditioner on recirculate if available, and using a HEPA air purifier if you have one.

* Avoid bringing smoke inside. Wipe your dog’s paws and coat with a damp cloth after potty breaks if there’s ash outside.

* Make sure fresh water is always available. Offer indoor enrichment like food puzzles, scent games, or gentle training sessions to help make up for the lack of exercise.

Monitor your dog closely for:

* Coughing
* Wheezing
* Rapid or difficult breathing
* Excessive panting at rest
* Red or watery eyes
* Lethargy or reluctance to move

If you notice labored breathing, collapse, blue or gray gums, or severe coughing, seek emergency veterinary care right away.

Pup is a 7 month old male unneutered husky mix. Reported to be very sweet with no behavioral concerns. He is potty trained and visits dog park with no reported issues.

We’re looking for a few experienced sewing helpers for our upcoming Stuffie Vet Clinic!

On July 25th from 11:00–12:00, we’ll be hosting a hands-on event where children bring in their well-loved stuffies (and pet toys!) for some much-needed “repairs” and TLC.

We’re seeking 3–4 volunteers with sewing or mending experience to help us with basic repairs like seams, small tears, and restuffing. We’ll provide stuffing, needles, and thread—but if you have a portable sewing machine, feel free to bring it along!
