Brownie has been having phantom limb pain. Although the limb is no longer there, the nerve endings at the amputation site can continue to send pain signals to the brain that make the brain think that the limb is still there. Massage can help reduce muscle tension and anxiety.

This gorgeous senior is having mobility issues with her hindlimbs. Our first two sessions have been about Molly getting comfortable with massage. Our goal is to reduce discomfort, improve flexibility and joint range of motion, reduce muscular tension and relieve anxiety and stress. In the next session we will work on exercises to strengthen her back legs.
