Dexter 🤍

183 appointments.

Two battles with cancer. Countless tail wags. More kisses than we could ever count.

We were there through the good days and the hard ones. Dexter met six of our groomers, made the trip from Hallandale to Sunrise to visit us at the salon, and even became friends with our four-legged hostesses, Thelma and Louise.

Last weekend, we said goodbye to one of our own.

Fridays won’t feel quite the same without you, Dexter. But loving dogs also means finding the courage to let them go when the time comes. We take comfort in knowing that your body is finally at peace. No more pain. No more treatments. No more disease. Just rest, comfort, and all the joy you always deserved.

To Susy, Dexter’s favorite human: we walk this grieving journey with you. Our hearts, our phones, and our doors will always be open to you. Please know that you gave Dexter a beautiful life filled with love, devotion, and dignity. You never stopped fighting for him, and he couldn’t have asked for a better person by his side.

Thank you for your trust, your friendship, and for allowing us to love Dexter for all these years.

Ni porque lo hayamos visto más de 70 veces desde 2019…
Ni siquiera por todos los años que compartimos también con su hermano mayor Bongo desde 2018, que siempre llevaremos en el corazón.

Lo queremos por quien es.

Porque perritos tan tiernos, nobles, amorosos y esponjosos como Benji no se encuentran todos los días.

There was a moment when I hesitated, unsure if I could give you what you needed—and for that, I’m truly sorry. Because I’ve come to realize that we are the right place for you. Here, you’re cared for with patience, respect, and all the love you deserve.
