We need to tell you about a wonder drug that we found. It’s called “Baby Gas Drops”. That’s not its clinical name. That’s just what we call it.
My doggie sister Buffy has a very sensitive stomach. She’s on a special diet. Royal Canin gastrointestinal diet. If she eats anything other than this food, she gets nonstop Pukies. Because this usually only happens at night, she usually has to go to the doggie ER and get a shot for nausea. This happens at least three or four times a year.
Last time this happened we went to the ER they sent us home with nausea, pills, and Pepcid the usual remedy. Well that time she wasn’t getting better, she kept crying in pain so we went to our regular vet who did all kinds of tests. The tests led to one conclusion … that she had very bad gas. That’s when her vet told us about the baby gas drops.
Yesterday, Buffy got into the cat food. Around 11 o’clock last night she started puking. In between the pukes, she was crying and pacing and trying to get outside to eat grass. By 4 AM mom was exhausted. But then she remembered the baby gas drops. There was a lot of screaming and fighting and Buffy had to be wrapped in a towel so mom could get the drops in her mouth. But within seconds, she calmed down, went to sleep and no more pukies. She’s feeling fine today.
Do you guys have dogs with bad stomachs? You should definitely try the baby gas drops. Of course, check with your vet first. Not sure if this works with Cats. It probably works with babies. We got it at target.
I just want to let you know that mom tries very hard to keep Buffy separated from the other animals food. Buffy has to eat locked in the laundry room so she can’t steal the other dog food. We feed the cats upstairs and we have a baby gate so the dogs can’t get up the stairs. But Buffy is very sneaky and she really loves cat food. Yesterday when mom was going through the gate, Buffy ran behind her and straight into the cat room. She managed three bites before mom caught her. That was enough to make her sick.
