Ozarks Kat and K9 Shelter We are a small but mighty no-kill animal shelter located in beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. Our volunteers and employees are few but mighty. on Hwy 5.

Our current thrift store was built originally to house our thrift shop and for our animals that are up for adoption. Our Thrift store is the main monetary base for the animals we take in and for our ongoing spay/neuter financial assistance program that benefits our area animals. Those interested in helping should come to our building on Hwy 5 just south of the Morgan/Camden county line or call us

at 573-374-2629. Memberships in Ozarks Kat and K9 are available. We are located just inside the northern edge of Sunrise Beach, MO. Come Visit Us!

Meet Finn & Fiona. ❤️❤️
At just 16 weeks old, these sweet siblings have already spent 85 days waiting for someone to choose them. And while their other siblings have found their forever families, Finn and Fiona have found something even more precious in each other — a bond that has grown stronger with every day they’ve waited.
Now, they’re a package deal. 🥹💕
Just look at them… sitting side-by-side, watching the world go by, completely content as long as they have each other. They play together. They snuggle together. They explore together. And when one moves, the other is usually right there behind them.
They don't need two homes. They need ONE home with room in two hearts. 🏡❤️
We know adopting siblings can be a bigger commitment, but we also know there is a very special kind of magic in watching two kittens who have grown up together continue their lives side-by-side.

💔 Somewhere tonight, another dog is waiting...

Waiting in a crowded shelter.
Waiting on a chain.
Waiting to be noticed.
Waiting for someone to give them a chance.

The heartbreaking reality is that we can't save every dog who needs us... unless someone first makes room for the next one.

That's why we're honored to join the ASPCA's "The Rescue Effect."

Every time one of our dogs goes home, something incredible happens. A kennel opens. Hope returns. And we're able to say "yes" to another dog that may have had nowhere else to go.

One adoption doesn't just save one life... it starts a chain reaction that saves another... and another... and another.
