Ozarks Kat and K9 Shelter We are a small but mighty no-kill animal shelter located in beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. Our volunteers and employees are few but mighty. on Hwy 5.

Our current thrift store was built originally to house our thrift shop and for our animals that are up for adoption. Our Thrift store is the main monetary base for the animals we take in and for our ongoing spay/neuter financial assistance program that benefits our area animals. Those interested in helping should come to our building on Hwy 5 just south of the Morgan/Camden county line or call us

at 573-374-2629. Memberships in Ozarks Kat and K9 are available. We are located just inside the northern edge of Sunrise Beach, MO. Come Visit Us!

The sweetest baby girl best at playing squeaky toys, splashing in the pool and preciously waiting for her furever home🥰 She is 5 months old and has watched her litter mates find homes and hopes it’s her turn next! Pixies sister, Poppy is still waiting for a home too!

🐾Pixie is 20lbs and has a happy-go-lucky personality which always makes her excited for fun activities like running & playing! When it comes to other dogs Pixie is a vocal and strong playmate who thrives on active, playful interactions. She is a food motivated girly which makes her eager to learn and a great training candidate!🤍

OUR PET FOOD PANTRY NEEDS YOUR HELP!!! We are completely out of dry DOG FOOD and very low on dry CAT FOOD in our community pet food pantry.

Any brand of adult dog or cat dry food is greatly appreciated to help lake area pet owners in need. Times are difficult for many people, and sometimes a bag of food each month is enough to help keep a beloved family pet from needing to be rehomed.

Donations can be dropped off in person at the shelter building Monday-Saturday between 10:30am and 4pm. We also accept open bags of food, so if your kitty or pooch is picky and doesn't like what was previously bought for them, we will gladly take it off your hands!

🩷🐶MEET POPPY🐶🩷

Absolutely adorable Poppy is 5 months old and so ready to join your family! She is currently 28 lbs, full of puppy energy and eager to learn how to walk on a leash. Her favorite activity is playing with her other siblings and dreaming of her future home. Poppy would love to join a home with kids or dogs. Just like any puppy she will need the appropriate training, however she is a smart girl and we are confident she will learn quick!🐾
