🐾 Exercise is about more than burning off energy—it helps keep your pets happy and healthy! ❤️

Regular walks and playtime help support a healthy weight, keep their minds busy, and give them a chance to sniff, explore, and enjoy their day. A little activity can make a big difference! 🐕🎾

Every pet has their own pace, so exercise should fit their age, health, and energy level—from gentle strolls to playful adventures.

Busy schedule? Katie Paws would love to help give your pets the attention and activity they need! 🐾

Cutiest picture of a bunny lounging !

With freezing temperatures possible across the South Plains this weekend, please prepare BEFORE the cold arrives! If your dog doesn’t have a coat suited for cold weather, bring them inside. Short-haired dogs, puppies, seniors, and pets with health conditions need extra protection. Even thick-coated dogs need a dry, sheltered place out of the wind and access to water that isn’t frozen. 🏡💙

Planning a winter getaway or holiday trip? Keep Katie Paws in mind for your pet sitting needs! I have 7 years of veterinary experience and experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, and livestock.

☀️🥵 It’s HOT out there! Please remember to keep your furry friends safe during these extreme temperatures. 🐾

Pavement, sidewalks, and even grass can get dangerously hot and burn your pet’s paws. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their feet!

🐶 Make sure your pets have:
💧 Plenty of fresh water
🌳 Shade or a cool place to rest
⏰ Shorter outdoor time (especially during the hottest parts of the day)
🐾 Paw checks after being outside
🚗 NEVER leave pets in a hot car — even for a few minutes

Our pets depend on us to keep them safe. A little extra care can make a huge difference. ❤️🐕🐈

Stay cool and keep those paws protected! ☀️
