2026 HORSE SHOW UPDATES!

New rule for FFA members:
All 4-H & FFA exhibitors must be safety certified and endorsed by a certified 4-H leader designated by the Crook County 4-H Educator. Certification must be present at check-in.

ATTENTION ALL FFA HORSE SHOW PARTICIPANTS!

Big news! At the last board meeting, it was decided that all FFA Horse Show members must complete a Horse Safety Certification before the 2026 Horse Show.

This certification—offered through 4-H—is a one‑time requirement and will stay valid for you and each horse you plan to show until you graduate high school.

Need to get certified? No problem!
Reach out to Jasmyne in the Fair Office, Erica in the 4‑H Extension Office, or your FFA Advisor to find out how, when, and where to get your certification done.

GOOD NEWS!
You’ll have two chances to complete your certification soon:
Horse Show Practice — Tomorrow, 10 AM to 2 PM in the outdoor arena (weather permitting, otherwise Big Barn).
Horse Show Practice — April 18th, 2026 at the Fairgrounds.

Don’t miss your chance to get certified and be ready to shine in the 2026 Horse Show!

Tomorrow is an opportunity to get your horse safety certificates completed! Join us at the indoor arena on the Crook County Fairgrounds for 4-H open ride at 10am.

Horse Practices Begin in November!

We’re kicking off with an orientation meeting on November 8th, where training day start times will be announced.
From December through May, the third Saturday of each month is reserved for 4-H and FFA members to ride free of charge in the indoor arena. Crook County Fair- Sundance, WY.

Please note, you and your horse must be safety certified to ride on this day and have active 4-H enrollment to ride for free.
