This is one of the busiest times of the entire year for pet sitting, and my calendar fills up much earlier than normal. Because I only take a limited number of pets at a time to make sure each one gets the attention, care, and routine they’re used to, availability is already becoming tight. If you know your travel dates — even if they’re tentative — now is the perfect time to get them on the schedule! Before becoming a full-time professional pet sitter, I was a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) — and I still maintain my credentials with continuing education because I truly believe that knowledge and medical understanding are so important when caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. 💕

I absolutely love what I do today, but I’d be lying if I said I never miss my vet tech days! Vet techs are truly the heart of every veterinary practice — skilled, compassionate, and often unsung heroes in animal healthcare.

This week, we celebrate these incredible professionals who:

Our Story

Hello! I'm Jen- your fun, reliable and trustworthy pet sitter! I am a graduate with a degree in Veterinary Technology from Columbus State Community College attained in May of 2018. I have been professionally pet sitting since June 2016 and I have loved every minute of it. I have had the opportunity to sit for a variety of pets - dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, horses, pigs, parrots, lizards, snakes, guinea pigs, rabbits - you name it, I’ll take care of it! I have 2 Australian Cattle Dogs of my own and 3 snakes. I have also owned, rescued and fostered a variety of pets ever since I was a young girl. I have had professional training with behavior, behavior modification, aggressive/anxious/fearful dogs, deaf dogs (I definitely have a soft spot for the deaf ones since I have one of my own), handling and medicating, exotic species and much more. Animals are my life and I would love to be able to spend time with you and yours!
