November 10, 2025 5pm Morgan County Courthouse.
Commission and Budget meeting to follow. This is the time for the community to voice their concerns on animal welfare. Do you want animal control? Do you want a county shelter? Are you ok with a slight increase in taxes to cover this?

Example: 1% increase on your property tax bill of $800 would be an $8.00 inrease.

MoCo Mutts is not population control. We take in the sick, injured, abandoned and neglected and police calls. Currently fundraising $205,000.00 a year. We want to continue and grow our work in Morgan County, but we need the county and community support. We are NOT animal control. We have outgrown our building and our finances will not keep up with the demand.

The County contributes $4000.00 yearly or $5.00 a day. The remainder comes from private donors or grants.

Please come and voice your concerns. What do you want in your County? It’s time to be heard.
