Prairie Sport Horses Hunter/Jumper Stable The stable is located on 57 acres of farm land that is 8 miles from the heart of downtown Madison, Wisconsin.

PSH has 2 indoor riding arenas, both pasture and box stall board, 14 oak fence paddocks, 2 pastures with shelters, and all-weather outdoor riding ring under lights.

Prairie Sport horses had a great first 2 weeks here at WEC Ocala
After an initial week of rest our first week of showing was a great success.

Dezi de Semilly - had a great show being clear in all rounds with a win in the .95 open meter jumpers with Silas Jaramillo.

Tulara Cascara - had an incredible showing in the open meter jumpers for his first show in America highlighted with a third place out 50+ entries with Silas Jaramillo. Charlie also had a fun time playing in the hunters with Emily Stirling.

Divine Timing - continued his consistent ways in the USHJA 2’6” with Silas Jaramillo and Long Stirrups with Dana Fields.

Surreal - won the USHJA 2’9” undersaddle and earned 5th place out of large and competitive field with Silas Jaramillo.

Prairie Sport Horses enjoyed a wonderful and productive couple weeks at the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival. The competition, show personnel and the show rings are first rate. But the stabling is mediocre at best. Our horses deserve safer, quality stabling.

The Advocate, by Abdullah out of Phoenix, is 25 years old today. The Advocate won his first class for Prairie Sport Horses in 2006 and continued to compete winning more than 20 champion or reserve ribbons as well as several HOTY Zone 6 awards until he was retired from showing at the end of the 2017 show season. He loves to work so continued to be ridden at home until he was fully retired this past fall. He is now living his best life in our pasture with his equine buddies.

HITS SUMMERTIME II. Another wonderful show. Rachel & Taliesin and Nicole & Dean Doesn't Know took time from their busy schedules to show with PSH. Both teams were successful, returned home with improved riding skills and were excellent company. In sum, the Fields' horses & Jaramillo horses continue to improve while happy & sound.
