It was a wet and muddy weekend at VHC! Very proud of all my horses. Donnie (owned by Carla Peno) is now a novice horse, finishing 8th. Clare (owned by Katie Miller Garvie) is now a training level horse- she made the xc feel so easy! Beezy (owned by Laureanne Vnter) put in 3 solid phases in the training for a 6th place finish. Sunshine and I decided it was a bit too muddy for us by 4:30 on Saturday, so we pulled up after fence 3 on xc and saved it for another day. He was trying his heart out for me and I love that about him!

Students Mackenzie Parks on Mickey in the training and Stacy Iacono Willson on Cardinal in his first recognized event were also solid in all three phases- well done ladies!

I'm so proud of you, Beezy! Its pretty gratifying to have this sweet girl, who we got as a 3 yr old racehorse, becoming the perfect training level packer. Even more special when her owner is your best friend. Even more special when the person you bought her from becomes a dear friend (Stacy Iacono Willson).

Thank you to everyone who trusts me with their horses- especially you, Laureanne Vnter ! Even if we do drive each other nuts, there's no one I'd rather be doing this with!
