My youngest and I are off from school today so we spent the morning cleaning all of the rabbit water dispensers, trimming everyone’s nails, brushing them out and letting them out to play.

It’s really important, as part of a rabbit’s routine, to trim their nails. This prevents injury to the nail and sore hocks which are sometimes tough to come back from. Some of our rabbits tolerate nail trims better than others but we find our way to get it done with everyone!

🍁 Coco’s litter of 5 🍁

These kits will be ready to hop the weekend before Thanksgiving! We will also potentially be offering our Host-A-Bunny experience if we have interest!

Bring your bunnies to school day! The kids had the best time sharing the babies with their friends! Everyone was so sweet and gentle and lovedddddd all of the baby snuggles!

We are so proud of this guy for rocking it at his first 4H rabbit show! He was so brave and had a great time with his rabbit, Oreo!

This sweet little kit is our first all white rabbit and he has red eyes too! The kids have been calling him Snow or Snowy ❄️

• This particular coloring is known as Red-Eyed White (REW) or albino rabbit

• REW rabbits have a genetic mutation that prevents the production of melanin

• Without pigment in the iris, light reflects directly off the blood vessels in the back of the eye, making the eyes look red or ruby

Come do a clean up with me! We try to keep everything clean and sanitary around here which why I’m so excited to have the hanging cages in the bungalow! It’ll be so much easier to keep clean.

A little glimpse into breakfast time with a few of our bunnies 🐇

As we,grow and learn more, we are always making little changes! We recently switched to the water bottles and we’re loving them! Our bunnies have all figured out how to use them and I have even found one of our mama rabbits laying under one, enjoying the cool drip on a hot day! 🥰

If you have rabbits, I’d love to know what some of your favorite items are! I think we’ll be switching to plastic or wire hay feeders next as we had a little mishap with one of our bunnies and our cloth feeders.
