A clean, fluffy bird always makes for a great mount. Wood ducks are especially hard to clean due to their natural habitat. The stained waters often stain feathers and make for a difficult time getting the colors back. We wash in a solution of dish soap and iron remover to bring back the natural beauty of this bird. Nothing uglier than a wet bird 😆
